Qualifying parents and/or family members can provide services to their minor and/or adult children/relatives receiving DDD services.
Any provider whether they be a guardian, relative, or non-family, must complete our application process. Which includes obtaining a Level-One Fingerprint Clearance, become certified in CPR and First aid, as well as participate and pass an Arizona Article 9 class. Habilitation, unlike rehabilitation is working on building goals for the first time at any age. Individuals with development disabilities need extra support in building skills necessary to complete tasks of daily living. The overall goal of this service is help members reach their potential level of independence in an encouraging, engaging, and patient manner.
Respite care is, an incredible and beneficial service we provide under DDD. It is an in-home service to provide short-term care to provide the primary care giver relief. In practice, its very similar to babysitting. Respite care providers observe and engage with the client one on one.
Attendant services assists the client with personal care tasks they may not be able to perform themselves such as bathing, feeding, and grooming. The service support to persons who need assistance with the functioning of daily living, self-care, or mobility.
